Hi Paul,
It's one of two ways .
Put key in ignition and turn on, hold down lock button for ten seconds remove wait 30 seconds and should be programmed .
Other way if first doesn't work , is unlock or lock door manually and press button when holding in lock or unlock position for 10 seconds.
