Yes done it loads of times. I'll have to check on my pc at work I have the pin data on a file on my desktop. If you check any DLC you only have pin 16 that is Bat volts all others apart from 4/5 have some sort of ref voltage or can on them, shorting these will never in my experience cause any issues.
