the auto tensioners run needle roller bearing between the arm and the pivot shaft they wear a groove on the pivot shaft stopping them moving properly remove the shaft and clean it turn it round a bit or replace the pivot shaft
think its the same one we,ve had loads of trouble with em ,with regards to the two different belts one will change for the other but this is usually caused by the above fault and will not last
