Iirc, the top section of the dashboard lifts off so you can access the bolts that secure the radio in. I spent hours undoing bolts from under the dash to remove radio before something clicked and made me think I am doing it all wrong.

Remove in minutes once you know as is always the case. I bet even youtube has a video showing how its done.
