My 1st use we snapped the stud without to much pressure being applied to the nut/bush which cost £50 to replace and when we came ton use the largest threaded rod one of the nuts had a poorly made or cut thread from new.
Snapon can't sell me this nut as you need to buy the whole threaded rod with 2 new nuts which aren't conventional m16.
I also lost a cup (well one of us did) and believe this or not but its exactly what we were told you can't buy any single replacement cups even though you have a list in the box with part numbers for each item.
Our dealer did manage to source one with a slight bending of the truth.
Anyway my point is don't bother buying this itc cups kit as you'd be disappoited with it.
I tend to use my us pro tools ball joint installer with the itc cups if space allows as the threaded rods are made of some really poor/cheap material and just aren't upto the job designed for.
Sockets and various other plates or sleaves is how we other wise struggle like most i suppose unless the tools are reasonably priced.
Having said that the vw polo suspension bush tool is superb made by ast.
