Year of Manufacture *: 2002 ( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: 3.2 V8
Trade customer asked for abs codes to be read, as the ABS light was on, and the traction control warning came up in the centre console. Codes C1165, RR wheel sensor signal, and C1235 RR wheel sensor. He replaced a faulty sensor and fly lead, and called me back to clear the system. Using both Autoenginuity and Maxidas, the code would not clear, yet live data gave accurate wheel speeds from all four corners. On this basis I sent the unit to bba who agreed there was a fault, which they say they have repaired. Customer then refitted the unit, and after several attempts, the codes cleared. However, although no faults are now logged with either scanner, the two warnings are still on the dash. Both Gendan, for Autoenginuity, and the Maxidas help line have both been very helpful, but do not have an answer. Is this a case for dealer only equipment, or am I missing something fundamental? TIA, Peter
