Away from tonight for a few days so trying clear the workshop

Good customer phoned in a panic this morning with a steering fault, she has just dropped it off

You only have to put slight pressure on the steering wheel and you get a loud buzz from the column, not pulled any covers off but I assume its the motor for the steering, can anyone enlighten me if they have had it before, just need to give her a bit of info if I can
