I'm having a battle with this Vectra and it's clutch. About 2 years ago we fitted a recon gearbox (same code) after the diff went pop. Included in this was a LUK clutch kit and slave. All was well for about 8 months until the clutch master seals flipped and the clutch pedal became useless.
We fitted a genuine clutch master and bled using brake bleeder which worked great. 6 months later it happened again and vauxhall changed it under warranty.
I got a call the other day to say its happened again and after being recovered to the workshop I can confirm it has indeed flipped the seals in the master cylinder.
The vehicle belongs to a friend who I know well and the vehicle gets no abuse. In this instance he parked up and when getting back in the car the clutch pedal went to the floor without working the clutch.
I've double checked all the right part numbers have been fitted as this vehicle is on a cross over date. The master is £100 and its a right pain to fit (servo out). Has anybody experienced this before?
I've sourced a second hand damper which i'm also going to change this time incase the original is allowing the fluid to return too fast.
Thanks
Matt
