Well, you know your Mother is always right and I have been ageing a while.

I dont have any problems with distance vision, thankfully and need just the one pair.
I do have one pair of bifocals(safety spec) which I try to use as much as possible. Problem is working overhead as you heed a neck that can bend back at 90 degrees to be looking through the correct part of the glass.
Just getting old.
