These are very prone for coolant temp sender failure. In fact I've fitted new ones only to have them fail within 6 months - always genuine. How hard can it be to make something so simple last??? Should be a fault code stored or live data off. I seem to remember its at the bottom of the rad towards the middle. I just reach my tiny hands down and change it without too much fuss.
