Hi All

Struggling a bit with this one. Its a good customer that has taken this vehicle over from his mother. The SRS lamp was on when she had the vehicle and Honda told her it needs a new ECU

15-01 Occupant position detection unit failure

15-02 Occupant position detection system indicator light failure

If you clear the codes the SRS light will stay off for about 4 days then come back on

The seat belt warning light comes on with the ignition and goes off when seat belt is connected

I have spoken to Honda and they say that this model does not have a seat occupancy sensor (drivers side) the only thing that will detect someone in the seat is the switch in the seat belt stalk, which we have replaced. The SRS lamp came back on 4 days later

Any ideas? I do not really want to send them back to Honda, but it's looking that way
