Thanks Terry I've had the handle connector off and sprayed with cleaner.the system works fine until the handle is used again,would that not exclude the motor connector.

I found out when deliberately operating the handle so the park brake fault returned,then moving forwards and back whilst switching off the engine the p/brake would come on as intended.
On restarting though the p/brake would not release until I unplugged the connector.

A useful tip if ever the EPB stuck unintentionally.
