I would be very reluctant to test airbag resistance, the way multimeters test resistance is by putting a small voltage through the component, this voltage can be more than enough to deploy an airbag!
The difference between a cheap multimeter and an expensive one is the amount of voltage they input, good ones will put a very small voltage thrhrough! I believe some dealers have a special tool for testing airbag resistance where the voltage is EXTREMELY small but they cost a fortune!
