Hi Liam. Not exactly the same fault but I had one a few weeks ago on the same model which every so often would push smoke out exhaust under load. There is a one way valve at rear of cam cover under pipe which goes over the top of cam cover.This valve was sticking sometimes. Cost about £7 from Vauxhall. Cured the fault.HTH
