Hi

This car has a fault with the gearbox, on take off it 'bangs' into 2nd gear intermittently. Apart from that the car drives well with no fault lights until the trans faults.

It was scanned by the garage and they got code 22 output speed sensor. they had the trans shop replace both speed sensors in this 5 speed box.

The fault still existed, we noticed that the owner had put larger wheels on it from the Range Rover sport, so the original ones were refitted.

When this did not work the car was given to the main agent who replaced the speed sensors in the gearbox again. Still no good.

When the car came back to the garage we tried scanning it with a different scanner [Carmen] and we got code 032 solenoid valve 3, against my advice the garage also had this solenoid changed. Still no better.

Before we go any further with everyone throwing parts at this car I wondered if anyone else had come across this issue?

The only other codes I have pulled from this car is 007F transfere box controller {AD} but this fault code has not returned yet.

I am not sure where to go next with testing this car as it is the first time I have worked on this box.
