Car was collected, fixed in Cleckheaton & returned. Took a bit longer than expected but works well now.
Due to intermittent engine cutting-out, we had replaced the ignition switch a couple of weeks before the gearbox started playing up. Driver admitted later that several times after cutting-out, while still moving, he had tried to get into neutral to restart but had gone through neutral and into reverse.....
