Hi everone.We have our first PD engine with a failed water pump,which has lead to timing belt failure.
We removed the head tonight and apart from the expected smashed tappet buckets and damage to their
housing,it seem to have survived better than excepted
Now the head will be stripped to check for further assessment but the bottom end concerns us with the loading on the piston rods bearings etc.
Has anyone on here repaired one of these with similar failure and could offer advice or guidance
on above.
