Hi Everyone

We have a 2001 BMW E46 2.0i touring in the workshop that had a failed DSC ECU. It is the MK60 type and we have replaced the unit. However it needs recoding to the car, and none of the scanners I have appear to be able to perform this function. The ABS side of the job is all OK, and the only codes I have now are coding and vehicle ID related!!

Anyone know if a non dealer tool can do this, or better still is there anyone in the Derby, Notts Leics area that could do this for us if we bring the car to your workshop? We have the old unit to extract the data from, and I can read the data with the Launch scanner, however there is no option on mine to recode another unit. Can anyone help please?
