Hi all and a Happy New Year. We have just changed the auto gearbox selector switch due to fault. When it was removed we lost some of the gear box fluid. I have checked with auto data for level plug, but found that it flowed out quite fast. With about 1ltre lost, I would have suspected it to need topping up. I have been intouch with BMW and they said it would have to come in to them to do it with diagnostics. From a gearbox specialist they said to run engine in park and then check level, with it running. This also found to just flow out fast. Has anyone done this before.
