Now, my initial thoughts were to look for a BSI type problem However the wipers (According to Autodata) are independently supplied from the headlights.

Though the lights seem to be switched via an MFU the wipers are swiched directly.

The side lights and indicators seem to work but main/dip beam does not and the failure coincides with failure of the wash/wipe swstems.

Now, before I start probing the wiring (Which I find tricky due to R/G Colour blindness) pusuing shoals of red (Or Brown in my case ) herrings, is this a routine fault that others have seen before??

EG Are these prone to fuse box issues like the old escorts used to be?
