Got a peugeot 206 in with no charge. car has had a new alternator fitted elswhere and come to me for second opinion.
It has a two wire smart charge system, one wire to the ecu is 12v constant and the other wire form the multifunction controller is 0v when plug is connected, if I power up the second wire it starts charging fine until the ignition is switched off.
Just need some direction on what the alternator needs to see to charge, I'm assuming the alternator is fine and it must be the multifunction controller.
