Has anyone tried to recode a secondhand radio into one of the later PSA models where the radio is matched to the VIN number (not the normal security code ones) using Peugeot Planet / Citroen Lexia?

I have a 307 radio here to do and just wondering if its possible to via the diagnostic socket rather than stripping the radio, removing the E2PROM chip and reprogramming the hard way.

Also, can you read the radio security code on normal radios using the Planet.....guess I need to experiment.
