Yes and No!

The power steering pump includes the power steering module so according to Vadis/Vida it says that the module must be loaded with new software to match the profile of the vehicle, however the unit will work without this but it just won't be optimised.

Looking at the repair details it seems to suggest replacement pumps will come with a new modified main power harness as well that you will need to use.
