K.C. will probably not be as bad this season as they were last. But it is getting old hearing all the experts saying things like; Mahomes is back from injury so the chiefs are back in the super bowl hunt. They act like mahomes missed half the season or more.
Just to be clear mahomes started the first 15 games of the season last year. He only missed the last 2 games. The chiefs were 6 and 9 in the games mahomes started, and he played like crap last year. In fact the past 3 years he has been throwing ints all over the field. 2022 was his last elite season.
I am sure the chiefs will be a little better, and who knows maybe they are a play off team. But the talking heads are not remembering what actually took place last season.
