I think paul was a big factor in the suns not getting "over the hump" the last two seasons. He is an older, slower, oft injured point guard, who disappeared when they needed him in the finals and post season in general. Getting rid of his salary was a great move. It would have been nice to get a younger guard in return, but beale can score and I think it makes the suns a better team.
