All I read and heard was how the players who sat out last year for covid were coming back on defense, they spent more money on free agents than ever before. Bringing in multiple high priced TEs and WRs. They drafted a QB in the first round. A month ago all I heard was how they were going to be the one seed and go to the Super Bowl.
Since you asked, Brady has won 4 super bowls without Gronk, not too bad.
It's not that I hate Belichick so much as I think he is grossly overrated.
The list of QBs you bring up tends to illustrate my point. With average or below QBs Belichick has an average or below record (below .500). With one of the all time great QBs he has an all time great record.

Gosh Basile, your showing your hate for Bill. I think he is one of the greatest coach’s of all time. This Patriot team sucked this year to be honest.

Bernie Kosar, Mike Tomzak, Vinnie Testaverde, Todd Philcox, Mark Rypien, Eric Zeier, Dre Bledsoe, Married Cassel, Jacoby Brissett, Jimmy Garapolo, Cam Newton, Brian Hoyer, Mac Jones. Just look at all of those great QBs he has had.
Basile I could also say how many Super Bowls does Tom have without one of the greatest TEs. They were a perfect match in my opinion. Brady and Belichick just were so darn good together.

Another defensive masterpiece by Belichick. That may have been the worst defensive performance in the history of the NFL. Belichick has a week to prepare and scheme for the Bills and what happens. He gets his ass kicked up and down the field like no team has before.
Here are some stats to think about, really think about how difficult it is to suck this bad:
Josh Allen had more touchdown passes (5) than he had incompletions (4).
The Bills had more touchdowns than they had 3rd downs. Think about that stat a minute.
And, of course, the Bills were the first team in the history of the NFL to go the entire game without punting, kicking a field goal, turning the ball over (int or fumble), or turning the ball over on downs. 7 straight TDs. Nice job Bill.
