Based on our voting results, here is the new COVID rule:
“Any rostered player with COVID (designated by a C on the league website) may be moved to a temporary COVID roster slot and replaced on the main roster with an unrostered substitute from the same NFL team and of the same MWAC position as the COVID player. COVID moves are unlimited and valid any week of the MWAC season (regular season and playoffs). Multiple COVID moves may be made each week. When the COVID label is removed from the original player, that player is moved off of the COVID slot and back onto the main roster. At that time, the substitute must be dropped from the roster. COVID moves will be on a first come, first serve basis, and shall be posted on the message board so that all owners are aware of the move. As soon as it is posted, the move is official. The commissioner will then follow-up by making the roster move. If the COVID move is announced on game day, it should also be announced if the substitute/replacement player will be in the starting lineup and who they are starting in place of (in case the commissioner is not able to make the roster adjustment prior to the start of the game). Similar to any lineup change, a COVID replacement player cannot be announced into the starting lineup if their game has already begun.”
