Before the series started I thought the Suns would win. In today's NBA I thought with their younger quicker players they would out athlete the Bucks.
But it is becoming pretty clear the Bucks have the better basketball players and up front are too big and physical for the Suns.
As expected Giannis is dominating up front, Booker may be slightly outplaying Middleton, but a major factor, that I didn't expect, has been that Holiday is just flat outplaying Paul. Maybe at this point in their careers Holiday is just the better player.
Lopez has been a much bigger factor than I expected as well. When Lopez and Giannis are both in Ayton has looked a little timid and sloppy at in paint.
I really thought Cameron Johnson, Bridges and Cameron Payne would out run and out athlete players like Connaughton, Lopez, Tucker, and Portis. But at this point in their careers it looks like the Bucks group, while less athletic, are better at playing basketball.
Anything could still happen and I will be pulling for the Suns. But the last two games I have picked Milwaukee, and that is who I am picking tonight.
