The additional NFL week being added starting 2021 will not affect our MWAC schedule. The MWAC regular season will continue to be held during weeks 1 thru 14 of the NFL season and the MWAC playoffs will continue to be held during weeks 15 thru 17 of the NFL season. Week 18 of the NFL season will not factor into MWAC. This should be beneficial in that there is a lesser chance of NFL players resting in Week 17 of the NFL season during the MWAC Championship.
