If they would have signed JJ for 3 to 5 mil a year I would have liked it. He could play only on passing downs and maybe stay healthy.
I just think 15 mil a year is foolish. They probably can't pay Haason Reddick now. Reddick is a younger and better player, so they spent a bunch of money and (if they lose Reddick) got worse. Previous Message

Why Cardinals would you pay 15 mil a year for an over the hill injury prone player like Watt. The Texans got rid of him because he made too much money. I figured he would sign a low one year deal somewhere and the Cards f up their cap by overpaying the over rated sob. He is not even the best Watt brother.
On another note: Maybe Watt's salary will make this impossible. But if your the Cards why not offer Murray and two number ones for Watson. I think there are still enough people who think Murray is an exciting young star that maybe the Texans would do it.
