Last ran in August 2019. Did not run prior to listing as it should have some maintenance done to it before running. Fuel additive was run through it prior to parking it for storage when my business failed.
The head is much rustier than it looks in the photos as it was just washed. The photos were taken in August 2019 when listed on eBay, the only new photo is the one showing it on the jack stands in the driveway. I gave the truck away as a gift and it is now sitting in my brothers driveway and needs to go. Truck in photos not included.
Sweeper has a tarp over it now, has been covered under an awning since parking it prior to now. Purchased in 2017 from a construction company in detroit that said they used it for job clean up. Sweeper hours are unknown as there is no display. Since i purchased it in mid 2017 it was used only twice a month to clean a small shopping center so I didnt add many hours to it. I have receipts from Southeastern Equipment Co. for $2K spent to get it ready to work, mostly replacing rusted parts back in 2017. It has a Subaru Robin 22 HP motor.
The only thing I needed to fix was the throttle vibrates down when running at a higher RPM, but I just used vice grips to keep the RPM where I wanted it. The battery cover needs replaced as it flew off at some point. Has a 25 gallon water tank for dust suppression in place but not hooked up. Has a rear work light in place wired up but not connected to the battery. Otherwise it ran and swept as it should when parked.
When picking up you would want to have your tailgate off the truck. Requires a half ton truck with a 3/4 bumper ball. You should be wired for trailer lights as the sweeper blocks your rear lights. Sweepers running lights, brake lights and turn indicators all worked when parked.
Will make a good back up or starter sweeper for someone. There is a small market for these so you could also resell it if you have the room to keep it around. When I listed it on ebay in 2019 the high bid was $3000 but didn't meet the reserve. I paid $3500 for it and put $2k into it. Must sell.
