There are likely politics keeping it from happening.

Watched UNLV @ HAWAII and even TC Ching Stadium is now better than Spartan Stadium (CEFCU.. SPIT! SPIT!).
IKEA stadium @ SJSU has been mangled like Kim Kadashian's plastic surgery fail.
And getting seats on the east side will take a decade to get due to the CAL STATE UNIV system.
And Brent Brennan was here when it all went down.
Is that one of the reasons he left (California politics hindering future and/or immediate progress?

The AD wants premium seating built between the 20’s. The rest would be metal bleachers. Eventual plans also call for wrapping the seating around the bleachers and creating a tunnel to the field where the ramp is located. The plans would restore capacity to around 30k. Sounds good!
