Good coaching starts with knowing your player's strengths and weaknesses. This is what killed RC and is what will kill BB. This is not a rant, I'm not calling for BB to be fired. These are JMHO's. Let's start with QB. Any quarterback's coach would have been working with Montel Aaron's mechanics. Aaron is long and his mechanics are slow. He even seems lackadaisical. I've seen him try to throw the quick slant over the middle after a run fake about 6 or 7 times since last year's South Florida game. To date, he still can't get the timing down and is always late on the throw. That's on the QB coach. None of the QB's seem to know how to look off the safeties and CB's (look one way and come back to the other side). I have to criticize BB for shutting down the offense late in the game. 3 straight running plays for little or no gain and then punting. This is a sign of the coach giving up on his players. This really goes against the competitive spirit. That's like driving a stake in the player's heart, like "your coach has lost all faith in you." Not a good sign of thing s to come.
