Some asked the question about the recruiting on Dirkin's live chat. He said he hasn't evaluatged the class yet. Well, I'm ready to give a couple of insights here. #1: Brandon Monroe is a stud. He can contribute on either side of the ball. Ryan Severson is also a stud, same as Brandon. They are both in the top tier in their local area. I don't know when SJSU could recruit such talent, let alone have early commits. Also, Phillip Carter is intriguing. He has size and speed, but is his speed up to D1 level standards? If it is, watch out. I also think Nico Aimonetti is a diamond in the rough. He can go OL or DL. Dirk was also asked about this year's roster, who would excel next year. Again I have a few comments on that subject. Of course Jalynn MaCaiin is going to be there. I also think Shane Smith is going to kick some butt. I when back a looked a some old Keith Smith highlights and I think Shane hits harder than Kieth. Also, he was the Cal All-Star defensive MVP. Oh, yea! Next year will be better than 2012. Coach Mac will want to be around for that. JMHO.
