Hi George, yes I’m doing ok thanks, been a long time since I was in Malaya though. I always wanted to go back out there but over the years, what with kids, running my own business, and a A lot of other things going on I have never been able to.when we’re you in Malaya? Can’t have been much before or after my time as the 48th were in Korea until 1955-56. Or indeed after as the regiment disbanded in 1958.

Anyway I was the REEME storeman and was billetted on the square on the opposite side to the NAAFI . In the first year at Christmas me and five others decided to do a turn at the NAAFI Christmas party as a skiffle group. There is a picture of the band on th IWM website sadly for some reason I am not in it.

Anyway George it’s been nice to remember some of those times
