Hi John. 8 Battery 29 Field Regt RA arrived at Tripoli 28 March 1959 and camped in tents next Mednine barracks Gurgi. They left on 23 April 1959 and returned to Cyprus. In 1958 79 Kirkee Battery had done the same, I do not know the dates.
