Hello Rob: Thank you for your fast response. I am delighted to find someone who knows about my father's regiment. I'll dig out some photos of him. As your daughter may know, my Dad ended his career as Sheriff of Inverness and the Western Highlands. He died in 1997. I have followed a very different course. After studying at Edinburgh and Cambridge, I have spent most of my life in the US, where I am a retired professor of mathematics at the University of Illinois.
