Hello, I'm trying to trace my grandads regimental badge and history. My grandma says he was in 160th Field Regt RA as gunner.
His name was William Henry Redgrift Army number 1792047.

I am sorry if i have come to the wrong place but I have exhausted my search. I honestly can't believe how hard it is to find basic military records.

All I was after was my Grandads regimental army badge insignia and cap badge if different to the RA regiment.

He served in Italy at Monte Cassino but all records I find about the 160 Regt are about the Chindits and the Asian campaign.

I want to display his medals and picture but frustratingly I have ended up at a wall.

Sorry again if I am asking the wrong organisation but would appreciate any help.
