I've got a picture of a 17 pnd. Valentine (Archer) in the streets of Aalten Netherlands) with on the red/blue square the sign 46.
Although I have been a gunner myselve, trained in Catterick (Gaza Lines on the 17 pnd. Valentine . I can't remember if the sign ment 46th Regiment or Battery, etc.
I would like the history of the 46 Valentine. May be you can help me or give me a hint where to inquire. Thanks in advance!
