I have over the last few years seen your postings asking about Neil Boardman, I knew and served on the same gun as "your" Neil Boardman 62/65 and I did reply to a Stuart Boardman asking about anybody who knew his late father, and drew no reply.
I have been talking on Sype to an ex 21 Bty guy Paddy Clements who was in Menden from 71 on and he had a Neil Boardman live above him in married quarters with a Scotch wife and this was a tall guy with glasses this does not sound like the guy we knew. So this Stuart Boardman may not be related to our Neil Boardman who died in Menden in 82(Neil's marriage status was in doubt)
I am telling you this so you may be able to take some comfort from the possibility that our Neil is still alive.Unless you have heard that Neil is dead.
