I agree with 'why does it have to be 10'. The best I can do with this is to list all the books I've especially enjoyed. I did that around 2003 and listed 22 or 23 books. Since then I've read a lot more, most of which I don't have hear to look over. The only two of your list that I'm sure were on mine are The Sun Also Rises and Bleak House. Tom Jones might have been; I do like it very much.
I'm curious about The Glastonbury Romance. I read somewhere that some three or four authors rated Powys as the most underrated writer. I would probably read A Glastonbury Romance this year if it were available on kindle.
I'm surprised not to see Gravity's Rainbow on your list.
