Well, we get a little closer to the answer of your question. The old Queens Chapel, also called St. Mary's Chapel, was in DC in the Northeast section, after the boundaries were drawn. The Queen mansion was close to present-day Evarts Street, NE and the chapel location was where the Langdon Elementary School is today. The original landowner was Mr. Marsham Queen, thought to be of Scottish ancestry. I found this info on the internet under St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in DC. There is a section of the Church website which details the history of it....it is connected to the old Queens Chapel. If you surf the internet, there are also threads of the genealogy of the Queen family. I know there is a Brent connection but not sure of the Brooks connection. But the name Queen surely implies a direct relation.
