I am looking for resources relating to the desegregation of Prince George's county public schools.
I am a graduate student in History and Library Science at University of Maryland, College Park, and I am especially interested in understanding which aspects of desegregation have already been addressed already in scholarship, and what may be areas or archival collections that have been overlooked or where more can be contributed.
I am also wondering if there has ever been a display or exhibit online or otherwise regarding school desegregation. I would be very interested in pursuing research in this area, conducting oral histories, and putting together a project regarding the topic.
Please contact me with any information, either on this message board, or edurham@umd.edu
Thank you so much,
Erin
