Mr Opsasnick is definitely the expert on PG County music venues particularly those that were once along Bladensburg Road.
His book Miscellaneous and Unknown: Cultural Souvenirs from Prince George's County, Maryland contains a lot of lore on local oddities. The cover even shows him standing in front of the Crossroads.
Sad to say the last time I went by the Crossroads (a couple of days ago) the famous neon sign had been removed.
: I am trying to find out some old historical
: information on the Bladensburg's Crossroads
: Nightclub. I really don't know much but I
: would like to know and have sent to me as
: much as possible. What kind of historical
: information about this place do you have. I
: am most interested in history of the club of
: the 1950's and 1960's not the 21 century.
: Anything you can send me would be very much
: Thank you
