There is much information on the internet about these Native Americans. They were Piscataways, and they have two websites for two different groups. So you can look them up. One group has headquarters near Waldorf in Charles County. Lots of information is out there, and contact numbers. You can also look up Turkey Tayac, who was a Proctor, who was a tribal leader during the 1900's. You can probably find someone who can answer your questions about the tents in Upper Marlboro.
