We have very little information about Whitaker family members, except that one of the County's historic sites was the plantation Pentland Hills, just outside Upper Marlborough, owned by a Robert Whitaker at the end of the 18th century. His father, also Robert Whitaker, had been active in the Court system of the County in the middle of the 18th century.
