The February 27, 1969, edition of the Greenbelt News Review contains a front page article by a Jim Smith entitled Greenbelt's Old Burial Grounds. It references his research through "Greenbelt's Historical Society" that pinpointed the site of a Native American burial ground as adjacent to the intersection of Hillside and Research roads on the north end of town. Further investigation revealed it was most probably not a native American burial ground, but more likely a Methodist church cemetary associated with a methodist church that was on the East side of Research Rd between Greenhill Rd and Ridge. Does anyone have any further information about the church?
