I am looking for information on Elizabeth Gardiner, b. ca 1750 in PG or Charles Co. MD, she married William Stevens/Stephens about 1772, Wm's father was also Wm. and he was b.ca 1724 in Md. I have found the baptizmal records in the King George's Parish registers, of two of their sons. George Gardiner Stephens was b. 2/11/1773 and Wm. Darnell Stephens b. 1/13/1775. I'm wondering if George Gardiner might be Elizabeht's father's name. I think that most of the Stephens family went to Va. shortly after the begining of the Rev. War, then on to Ky. before 1800. Wm.'s father Wm. was married to Rebecca Darnell, her father was John Darnell. If anyone has information on any of these families, I would greatly appreciate having it and I'll be happy to share any info that I have. Thanks
