A friend of mine who is Afro-American last name
is LANHAM

I was wondering if the Lanham family of
Lanham Maryland were slave owners
back during the civil war era

And if so was their property part of what is
now New Carrollton.

Theirs a spring which runs along
Princess Garden PKWY and feeds under
Annapolis Road,I believe this Spring
feed into the old Lanham Mansion
during the Civil War era
(the spring is now covered over with
tar and cement)
