I was wondering if anyone had any more information about the Melford house, located by the science and tech center in Bowie.
I would like to know things like, when it was built, who originally owned it. when it was last a residence, Who owns it now etc.
I would also, if possible like to see some photos of when it was in its prime.
I have been to see it a few times, and I must say I have fallen in love with it.
Despite it being rather dilapidated, it still has a grand air to it.
The huge trees, the porch, terraced lawn. Its all gorgeous.
Also, I have read, on the city of bowie's website, and in a few other places online, that there is a cemetary some where on the grounds, does anyone know where it is/how to get to it? And is it the Melford family cemitary
And Im dieing to find out more about it, and any information is greatly appreciated.
